You are using Recharge to add recurring billing options to your store? That's great and not a challenge at all! Connect Recharge with RetentionX to analyze the performance of your subscription business.
How to Get Your Recharge API Token
If you installed Recharge before November 30th, 2021 you need to require the Recharge Support team to enable Recharge user and account permissions in order to get access to your API token. To request access, please complete the Recharge Accounts Permissions Enrollment Form. Recharge will review your submission and respond to you via email.
To integrate with Recharge, we will first need to know your Recharge API token, which allows RetentionX to access Recharge's API. Let's see how we can obtain this:
- Log in to your Recharge account.
- From the merchant portal, select Apps.
- Click on API tokens.
- Accept the Recharge API Terms of Service
- Create an Admin API token to generate a new token for your store
- Use the Details fields to set a name and contact email for the token.
- Select Read access for the Orders and Subscriptions fields to set the right scope permissions for the token.
- Click Save to create your token.
By default, the store owner is the only one with the ability to create and manage API tokens. The store owner can update the account permissions, granting staff and developer accounts access to the API tokens page.
How to Set Up the Integration
Now log in to your RetentionX account:
- Navigate to Automations and select Recharge by clicking Connect.
- Insert the Recharge API token.
- Complete the setup via Connect.
After importing all your subscription data from Recharge, additional subscription-dedicated reports will get unlocked.
