To prevent unauthorized people from accessing your RetentionX account, you have the option to add an additional layer of security. To do so, just enable two-factor authentication for all users added to the account.
- Navigate to Company Settings > General
- Activate 2 Factor Authentication
Once the two-factor authentication is enabled, all users must first enter their email address and password (knowledge, first factor). Then, instead of immediately gaining access, they will be required to provide another piece of information: a security token (possession, second factor). The security token will be sent to the email address associated with your account.
With two-factor authentication, a potential compromise of just one of these factors won’t unlock the account. So, even if your password is stolen, the chances of a someone else having your second-factor information is highly unlikely.
