If your store is not running on Shopify, Shopware, or BigCommerce, then you can easily import your data directly into RetentionX by setting up a Custom Integration.
The first step is to prepare all your data. Once this is done, it is time to perform the import. The One-Time CSV Upload is similar to the Scheduled Data Import, with respect to the import file format and types of import entities:
- The import file should be in .CSV format
- You can import customer, order, product, and marketing data
The import process in RetentionX consists of three steps:
- Navigate to Data Import > One-Time Import in your RetentionX account.
- In the next step, upload your prepared CSV file.
- In the last step, the data in your file must be assigned to the corresponding fields stored in RetentionX. Based on the first record, RetentionX automatically matches the fields; for this, it is useful if these are the same or at least similarly named.
All data which cannot be assigned automatically can be assigned to the corresponding attributes by:
- Selecting one of the pre-defined columns in RetentionX
or by - Adding a custom field
Please note that we do not take customer fields into account for our analysis.
After clicking Start Now your data import starts! You can find under All Imports detailed information about all historical import attempts.
