How to Create a Custom Dashboard
Creating a custom dashboard from scratch is more than easy:
- Click on My Dashboards > New Dashboard.
- Choose a name for your new dashboard.
- Select the dashboard type. The dashboard type defines the time period of interest and can be either a preset or a custom time period. If you choose a custom time period, you can change the time period on the dashboard at any time, but not all calculations may be available.
- Add content to the dashboard - called widgets. These widgets can include KPIs, rankings, reports, or goals.
1. KPI
Choose a metric to pin to your dashboard.
2. Ranking
A ranking is a list of the top 5 results, e.g. Categories, based on a selected criterion, e.g. by Gross Items Sold.
3. Report
Add graphs (either in full or 2/3 width) to your dashboard and specify the metric you want to look at, e.g. Time Analysis.
4. Goal
Add your goals to your dashboards. Depending on the time period of the dashboard, your goals are drilled down accordingly, so you can see exactly how, for example, this month's performance compares to the monthly goal.
