Comparing different data sets help you to understand key similarities and differences. In RetentionX, there are two types of data sets that you can easily compare using our compare feature:
If you look at analysis including all data, you’ll only see how people behave overall and if you look at specific segments or date ranges, you’ll see how those behave. However, compared data will quickly inform you on what makes it unique. Comparing data highlights discrepancies and leads to important questions and answers, e.g.:
- How successful was my last holiday season in comparison to the previous year?
- How do my Top Customers perform against our overall customer base?
- How do my subscribers differ from non-subscription customers?
In order to gain meaningful insights, always change only one parameter at a time, i.e. either the customers under consideration or the time frame.
