Unique coupon codes are the perfect way to deliver an outstanding personalized experience to your customers. Beside this, they protect your offer against promo abuse, as unique coupon codes are for each individual or customer. Once this code has been, it's automatically marked and deactivated.
It's important to evaluate the collective impact of all these unique coupon codes to analyze the effectiveness of your promotion.
How to Group Unique Coupon Codes
By default, all unique coupon codes applied to an order are imported to RetentionX and evaluated individually in Best Coupon Codes report.
To group coupon codes that belong to a promotion, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Settings > Company Settings > Data Mapping.
- Click New Mapping to group your coupon codes.
- Determine the coupon code pattern that all coupon codes generated for a promotion have in common. You can either group all codes that start with or contain this pattern.
- Define the promotion name under which all identified codes should be grouped.
- Finally, click Save to add the grouping to your data mapping. Please note that all changes will be visible in your RetentionX account the next day.
- You can create as many mappings as needed.
Once set up, the performance of your unique coupon codes will be analyzed as one promotion and can be found in the Best Coupon Codes report.
