How it Works
To create custom audiences, RetentionX pushes all customers belonging to a segment to TikTok Ads - of course, in an encrypted form. TikTok can then identify these customers either by their phone number or by their email address.
RetentionX leverages both information and automatically creates two audiences: one based on your customers' email addresses and the other based on their phone numbers. That way, we maximize the matching score between RetentionX and TikTok.
How to Create Audiences
After connecting your TikTok account to RetentionX, it's more than easy to sync your audiences.
- Navigate to Customer Segments.
- Hover over Create Audience for the segment you want to use as audience
- Choose TikTok.
- Select the ad account for which you want to create the audience.
- Confirm by clicking Create Audience.
Alternatively, you can create your audiences in the TikTok connection settings under Audience Sync:
